Attendance

If your child will be absent from school, please send an email to information@mdsschool.com. Please include the following information:

Name of student
Grade
Date and reason for absence

If picking up early for an appointment, please specify the pick up time and whether they will be returning to school. Students will be pulled out of class when the person picking them up is in the office. 

Please send email no later than 8:30am on the day the absence will take place or sooner if possible and ensure to copy the teacher.

We understand that occasional tardies can happen for various reasons, but consistent lateness can disrupt the learning environment for students. Therefore, for every three tardies a student accumulates, families are required to complete an additional service hour.
